LG Hausys produces an educational video about full vehicle coating

Full vehicle coating of a van is definitely one of the larger challenges when it comes to the adhesion of foils. As a starting guide into full vehicle coating, LG Hausys produced a 15 minute educational video.

The filming took place on 18th and 19th November 2010 in the rooms of the SEW Academy in Trittau near Hamburg. In contrast to other comparable videos available on the internet, the film produced by LG Hausys does not coat a car but a van from the Mercedes Vito brand. This was done because this type of vehicle is a real challenge even for skilled coating applicators.

The audience of the video learn the most important aspects which need to be considered step by step. Therefore, the topic of cleaning the background surfaces holds just as much importance as the maximum elasticity of the foils or the correct coating temperature.

Axel Kux, European Sales & Marketing Manager of LG Hausys, stated that "The goal was mainly to create an extensive and realistic presentation of full vehicle coating."
