Hewlett Packard and LG Hausys present environmentally-friendly
products for the graphics industry
Under the motto "The Graphics Industry and Sustainability" HP invited its guests to a one-day customer event in Barcelona. The environmentally-conscious consumption of resources was the central focal point of this event. In this very respect, companies such as LG Hausys and HP have, in the past number of years, gone to great efforts in order to be able to offer their customers environmentally-friendly products.
LG Hausys was in a position to be able to present the "Flagship" amongst its environmentally-friendly products, a biodegradable film produced from corn. In the soil this film is broken down into its constituent parts - to humus - within 120 days by the natural decaying process, similar to that which occurs during composting.
Together with the newest generation of HP latex printers, a new material combination emerges. This material combination is ideal for advertising technicians and end consumers who wish to incorporate environmentally-friendly products into their portfolios. A further advantage of the use of latex ink: drying times prior to lamination fall away completely. The processing sequence is accelerated considerably as a consequence.
